Since moving to Colorado in 2013, Mike has been actively engaged in outdoor culture of Colorado Springs. Drawing on his experience in building trails in Arizona, Mike joined the board of Medicine Wheel Trail Advocates and was heavily involved in building the Lake Moraine Trail. He is also a volunteer with the Trails and Open Space Coalition where he has spearheaded the Ring the Peak Trail project.
