Get down to Get Oudoors Day\, a free festival hosting a variety of outdoor businesses and nonprofit agencies ready to introduce you to activities that you can try. \nNot into fly fishing? Try spin casting. Maybe you can’t mountain bike. Try a new pedal-assisted electric bike. Maybe you want to learn about mapping. Or perhaps bird watching is more your style. \nThere will be a “touch a truck” area for kids to see and touch a variety of vehicles\, such as those used by Colorado Parks and Wildlife. And U.S. Air Force Academy cadets will be there with falcons on their arms for a close look at live raptors from the AFA’s falconry program. \nLearn about trail maintenance\, bird watching and conservation. Play games and participate in scavenger hunts.
